Margaret B. Ikeda

In practice for over 20 years, Ms. Ikeda began her career in insurance defense (construction and personal injury) and then worked representing plaintiffs in civil rights cases. She then returned to defending public entities in employment matters and civil rights issues. Ms. Ikeda has successfully argued the issue regarding the scope of mandatory duties in a published appellate decision, County of Los Angeles v. Evangelina Hernandez. Ms. Ikeda credits her experience on both sides of litigation with providing her with a balanced perspective for case analysis and strategic resolution. In addition to assisting her clients, Ms. Ikeda uses her experience with the Orange County Bar Association to arbitrate fees disputes. Ms. Ikeda graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in communications. She received her Juris Doctorate cum laude from American University.
