The Firm devotes a significant part of its practice to the full-service representation of architects, engineers, and other design professionals throughout the full lifecycle of a project. Our attorneys provide practical, business-minded counsel designed to help our clients identify and manage risk before disputes arise, while also providing experienced representation when claims develop. Led by Larry Treglia and Michelle Berger, this representation has grown from litigation to include employment, intellectual property and the drafting/negotiation of contracts for professional services. The Firm has a solid understanding of both the design and construction process and the challenges of succeeding in the A/E business. Our representation includes assisting design professionals with contract negotiation, project delivery, payment and performance issues, scope and fee risk identification and allocation, as well as project and post-project disputes with owners, contractors, and other project participants. When litigation or arbitration becomes necessary, we vigorously defend architects and engineers against claims involving alleged professional negligence, design defects, delays, cost overruns, and other project-related disputes.

We provide our architecture and engineering clients with employment counseling, intellectual property protection, asset purchase agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and alternative dispute resolution services.
